I started out my photography business Love Her Wild over a decade ago and grew it to an international brand. I was globally known. Being asked to speak at conferences, teach online, and deliver my creative knowledge to thousands of women. It happened quick. I had to learn the hard way. But the sucess both in photography and teaching didn’t come from fitting in a box. It came from listening to what my artist heart truly wanted to do and taking action on it.
I don't believe in the starving artist. Never have.
That story was handed to us so we'd stay small, stay grateful, stay quiet. Make the pretty thing, don't ask for much, and definitely don't expect to live well off it.
